Junior Machine Operator in Post-Production

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Machine Operator to join our post-production team. This entry-level position involves operating specialized equipment, including a heat treatment furnace and an EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine), to process 3D printed parts and ensure they meet quality and precision standards. Key Responsibilities:

Heat Treatment Furnace Operation:

• Set up and operate the heat treatment furnace for post-processing 3D printed parts, ensuring proper hardening, annealing, or other thermal treatments as required.
• Monitor and control temperature, time cycles, and furnace conditions to achieve desired material properties.
• Conduct routine inspections of the furnace and adjust settings to maintain optimal performance.
• Record data related to heat treatment parameters and ensure parts meet specifications before moving to the next stage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to furnace operation.
• Assist in furnace maintenance, including cleaning, recalibration, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

EDM Machine Operation:

• Set up and operate the EDM machine to remove printed parts from the build plates with high precision.
• Adjust machine settings for optimal cutting, including selecting the correct electrodes and controlling voltage and timing to achieve precise cuts.
• Monitor the cutting process to ensure parts are successfully detached without damage and meet design specifications.
• Conduct routine checks to maintain machine performance, including replacing worn electrodes and performing general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the EDM machine operates safely and efficiently in compliance with safety and quality standards.

General Post-Production Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior operators and engineers to ensure that post-production processes align with quality standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Assist in quality control checks to identify and correct any defects in parts or materials.
• Help with parts finishing and laser engraving

Qualifications Required :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in machining, manufacturing, or additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic machine operations, including heat treatment and EDM processes.
• Interest or experience in additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical specifications.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move parts and materials up to 30 kg as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
