JUNIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER
Job description
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and document action items.
- Ensure adherence to PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, clients, and vendors.
- Communicate project updates and escalate issues to senior management.
- Ensure all project documentation is up to date, including risk logs and change requests.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks.
- Assist in quality control and ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
- Support in post-project evaluation and process improvement recommendations.
- Monitor KPIs and track project performance using reporting tools.
- Prepare presentations and reports for project status updates.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives based on project insights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or management.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is mandatory.
- Project Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Technical Acumen: Experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
