Responsibilities:
Provide advice and consultancy in the development and validation of business cases to support the proposal to invest in new ventures, capital expenditure and large / long-term commercial agreements.
Ensure business performance is monitored on a periodic basis through relevant reports, KPIs and meetings (e.g. MFR/MBRs), including the identification and delegation of actions across the business to improve future business performance.
Ensure that an appropriate financial control environment exists in the business to protect the shareholders' interest.
Ensure the Corporate Governance Manuals are followed across the entities.
Lead the development of the finance teams (regardless of reporting line) within the defined business portfolio to ensure a high performing Finance team.
May be required to become a legal board director on statutory entities ensuring the interests of both the shareholder and the legal entity are prioritised.
Skills:
Finance & Insurance/Finance Management: 10+ Years
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
Degree plus relevant professional qualifications i.e. MBA or Qualified Accountant. Relevant experience in a Finance, Commercial or Analytical roles including a minimum of 5+ years experience in an FP&A function with a proven history of delivering real value add FP&A support to a business in a dynamic and challenging business environment.
