Assist in preparing and reviewing electrical drawings schematics and technical documentation.
Support the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy of materials as per project requirements.
Update and maintain records of electrical designs and modifications in project documentation.
Assist senior engineers in overseeing electrical installation and commissioning activities.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical work complies with project specifications and safety protocols.
Help troubleshoot basic electrical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on task progress to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
Ensure all work adheres to ADNOC safety and quality standards.
Report any safety hazards or compliance issues immediately to senior project staff.
Participate in regular safety briefings and adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
Engage in on-the-job training to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
Stay updated on ADNOC standards, electrical codes, and best practices for oil and gas projects.
Take part in professional development sessions as provided by the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in oil and gas or construction environments. Exposure to ADNOC or similar projects is an advantage.
Basic proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (IEC, IEEE) relevant to oil and gas.
