Job Overview

A Junior Dredging Engineer evaluates the optimal dredging approach in terms of costs and practicality during the tender phase of a project and ensures optimal dredging production during the operational phase of a project. For this, the engineer needs to estimate dredging productions through calculations, analyzing big data, and following up on dredging productions through site visits.

The Junior Dredging Engineer is part of the Dredging Production Team of the Commercial Department. The team is young, diverse, refreshing, and gives its members the freedom to develop in a personal way. Therefore, a flexible attitude, good social skills, the correct team spirit, a high level of independence, and a proactive approach are required.

Responsibilities And Duties

1. Production and cost estimation of dredging-related activities during the tender phase of a project.
2. Follow-up of dredging productions during the operational phase of a project.
3. Assistance to the project team in reaching optimal dredging methodology during the operational phase of a project.
4. Further development of production and cost estimation methods.
5. Set-up useful databases to enable big data analyses.
