Position: Junior Buyer for Luxury Monobrands

What You'll Be Doing:
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed understanding of the department and market trends for the category.
- Collaborate with the Buyer/line manager to define the product strategy and execute it via the right assortment.
- Incorporate store team and customer feedback to build the assortment for the category.
- Present and update VP buying/Head of buying with performance insights and analysis.
- React quickly to feedback and requests from senior management.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and source industry trends and new brands/products for the portfolio.
- Maintain communication with suppliers and assist with ordering, delivery, and payment of merchandise.
- Help the Buyer research and select quality merchandise suppliers at the best price.
- Control merchandise selection for sales within agreed markdowns and stock levels.
- Place re-orders in consultation with buyers and communicate relevant information to all parties.
- Maintain an accurate database of vendor agreements and forward completed agreements to Merchandise Planning.
- Consolidate buying feedback reports and provide recommendations per brand portfolio.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities:
- Promote urgency and establish accountability in the team.
- Develop relationships and build rapport with a variety of people.
- Analyze complex situations and distinguish between relevant and unimportant information.
- Communicate messages clearly and adjust content to meet diverse stakeholder needs.

Qualifications:
- Preferred degree in a fashion-related subject.
- Minimum 4 years of Buying experience in luxury fashion - monobrands (womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear, handbags, and accessories).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create product and trend presentations.
- Strong brand management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and brand principals.
- Agile problem solver with strong leadership skills.
