Junior Business Analyst - Retail

We are looking to fill Retail Business Analyst for ECCO Middle East located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Job Summary

The Junior Retail Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing retail operations to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability. Their primary responsibility is to examine data related to sales, inventory, customer behavior, and market trends to help businesses make informed decisions. Junior Retail business analysts play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, streamlining processes, and enhancing the customer experience in retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Analyzing large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. This could include sales data, inventory levels, customer demographics, and purchasing behaviors.
2. Sales Forecasting: Using historical data to predict future sales trends and demand, helping retailers make strategic decisions on inventory levels and staffing needs.
3. Inventory Management: Evaluating inventory turnover, stock levels, and supply chain efficiency to minimize costs and reduce stockouts or overstock situations.
4. Customer Insights: Gathering and analyzing data on customer preferences and shopping behaviors to help tailor marketing strategies, product offerings, and store layouts.
5. Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for senior management that provide actionable insights. This could involve creating dashboards, visualizing data, and highlighting key metrics.
6. Market Research: Keeping an eye on market trends, competitor activities, and customer sentiment. Understanding the competitive landscape can guide product assortment decisions and pricing strategies.
7. Process Optimization: Identifying inefficiencies within store operations and supply chains. Recommending ways to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
8. Performance Tracking: Monitoring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as sales growth, conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction metrics.
