Junior Auditor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auditor to join the team at our client's prestigious legal audit firm. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of auditing experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Other duties and responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Conduct audits of financial statements in compliance with local and international auditing standards.
• Review and verify the accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, and other documentation.
• Analyze financial data, assess risks, and provide recommendations to improve financial practices.
• Prepare audit reports ensuring clear communication of findings, issues, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Perform testing on internal controls and assist in the identification of areas for process improvement.
• Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and working papers in accordance with audit standards.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices affecting audits and financial reporting.
• Support the senior audit team with other audit-related tasks as required.

Requirements

To be considered you need to meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in auditing/accounting.
• A strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and audit methodologies.
• Proficient in QuickBooks software (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with UAE tax laws, regulations, and legal frameworks is a plus.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are an advantage.

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or CPA, at least 3-5 years in accounting and payroll processing, good command of English, and communication with clients. Willing to work 6 days a week. Should be a Tagalog Speaker. Application on a Dependent Visa will be given first preference. Able to start immediately.
