Junior Architect

The Revit Architect role will be an integral part of projects. Preparing, reviewing, and modifying drawings in Revit software/AutoCAD is the core work involved.

Reporting Relationship: Senior Architect - Dubai, UAE

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B Arch) from a reputed University/College.
2. Council of Architecture registered.
3. 0-3 years of experience in Architectural Design. Experience in the Healthcare sector preferred.

Skills

1. Experience in documentation of projects from planning and conceptual design through construction administration.
2. Ability to work on both local and international projects.
3. Proficiency in Architectural Software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3DS Max and knowledge of Clash Detection of services.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred.
5. Knowledge of building codes (local).
6. Experience in working on challenging projects.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and Revit for all stages of designs.
2. Review all sketches and layouts to meet Project's requirements and specifications.
3. Coordinate with architects/engineers and other local & international team members (if necessary) to ensure timely and correct design preparation, and release of drawings to support the project.
4. Update, review, submit designs and completed drawings for approval, ensuring timely and correct preparation and release of drawings.
5. Ensure to produce quality work on tight deadlines.
6. Liaise with the Design Team, Healthcare architects, and Revit/CAD Manager.
7. Assist Senior Architect with ad-hoc project-related tasks.
