Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant for one of iPay's leading companies. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for entering data into the accounting system, handling petty cash, preparing invoices, and archiving financial documents.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
2. Handle data entry for petty cash transactions and other financial records.
3. Assist in the preparation and issuance of invoices to clients.
4. Ensure timely and accurate billing of clients.
5. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
6. File and archive financial documents for easy retrieval.
7. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
8. Reconcile COD per customer daily.
9. Monitor and record incoming funds.
10. Track and categorize company expenses.
11. Assist in the management of expense reports.
12. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure a smooth month-end close process.
13. Provide necessary support for financial reporting.
14. Liaise with internal teams to gather financial information.
15. Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is a plus.
2. 2-3 years of experience as a Junior Accountant.
3. Familiarity with financial processes and procedures is advantageous.
4. Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
7. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
