We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant for our subsidiary in Dubai and the candidate must be already based in Dubai. The Junior Accountant at Moellhausen Dubai will work in close collaboration with the administration team and will report to the local Accounting Manager and/or to the Group CFO.

Key responsibilities (not limitative):

1. Raise invoices to customers, posting payments to customer accounts
2. Maintain customer accounts
3. Assist in payroll as assigned (WPS knowledge)
4. Assist in managing staff expenses
5. Support administration & human resources Dpt.
6. Support day to day operations of the accounts department (data entries and control)
7. Manage accounts payable (bill payments, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque/ transfer in a timely manner and perform reconciliations
8. Prepare VAT submission of Tax return on quarterly basis
9. Support end of month close procedures (process journal entries in Navision)
10. Support to annual Audit
11. Assist in the yearly closing and processing of financial reports
12. Maintain confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
13. Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Requirements

1. Proficiency in IT: excellent knowledge of Excel (Navision and SAP are a strong asset)
2. Knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices, standards, laws & regulations
3. 3 years experience as an accountant minimum
4. Bcs in accounting, finance or equivalent
5. Relevant and verifiable previous experience in an international company
