About the Role

As a Junior Accountant you’ll play an essential role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the success of our global operations across the UAE and UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a thriving e-commerce business that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.

What you'll do

• Accurately record and manage day-to-day financial transactions in our accounting systems.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and precise handling of accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and maintain up-to-date general ledger records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support the finance team with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate on tax filings, including VAT and other compliance requirements for the US and UK markets.
• Contribute to internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and suggest improvements to streamline processes.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with familiarity in Excel and ERP systems being a plus.
• An understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Prior experience in a similar role or internship (preferred but not mandatory).
