Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Majan, Dubai

Reports to: CFO/Management

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting team in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in recording and reconciling financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries).
2. Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records for real estate projects.
3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely updates to financial records.
4. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
5. Support the team in budgeting, forecasting, and tax filings.
6. Maintain financial documentation and assist in audits and compliance processes.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data reporting.
8. Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
4. Strong understanding of financial statements and bookkeeping principles.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
