TITLE: Junior Account Executive

DEPARTMENT: PC & Vans

LOCATION: Dubai

REPORTING TO: Senior Account Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Account Executive to join our team, focusing on Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PR reporting, project management and influencer marketing, with a passion for the automotive industry. In this role, you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on the operational aspects of the PR team, ensuring everything runs smoothly with great attention to detail.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

PR Team Support:

Work closely with the PR team to align on the ongoing projects and activities that require your support or proactive contribution.

Manage files and presentations by saving them in relevant folders and assessing the efficiency of the current filing structure.

Create bespoke press lists for upcoming events and activations.

Support PR team during events, activations and major announcements by managing logistical tasks and press follow-ups.

Manage the day-to-day execution of PR projects (within the scope assigned to you), ensuring tasks are completed on time.

Maintain project trackers, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with team objectives.

Campaign Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams to support executing PR campaigns aligned with client goals.

Assist in preparing strategic insights and reports to inform the client's brand positioning and campaign development.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to support strategic recommendations.

Press fleet management:

Identify influencers for each month's press fleet distribution.

Manage influencer outreach, ensuring press cars are circulated for reviews and test drives.

Manage car bookings by coordinating with the General Distributor (GD) responsible for cars availability and updating the press fleet tracker.

Monitor respective influencers social media pages to record and report coverage.

Coordinate any additional requests associated with press fleet management and align with the PR team for guidance when required.

Press trips and events management support:

Coordinate press trip and event logistics pertaining to itinerary management, flight and hotel bookings.

Manage media and GDs requests and coordinate with the PR team to provide guidance and support when required.

News Tracking and Reporting:

Monitor, gather and analyse PR coverage.

Support Account Manager in compiling monthly, quarterly, annual, event, and activation reports.

Regularly read industry and competitor news and share major daily news highlights with the PR team.

Create weekly industry highlights for GDs and internal distribution.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PR or marketing project coordination, ideally within the automotive or advertising industry.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while proactively contributing to the improvements of the PR team's operations.

Understanding of PR, influencer marketing and social media channels.

Strong communication, organisational, and data-analysis skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with media data base and press monitoring tools (Vuelio, Meltwater, Carma, etc).

Passion for the automotive industry and a working knowledge of Mercedes-Benz brand is a plus.
