Job description
Responsibilities:
Respond to daily operational legal inquiries from various departments and project teams, providing guidance and support.
Assist in the review of NDAs, contracts, sub-contracts, and other legal documents, identifying risks, conflicts, and ambiguities for resolution.
Draft and review basic corporate and contractual documents, such as letters, contract notices, meeting minutes, Power of Attorney, and more.
Actively participate in project teams, offering advice on performance compliance with contracts and ensuring legal adherence.
Conduct thorough legal research on diverse areas of law to support ongoing projects and queries.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, manage arbitration and court cases, and oversee case progress as required.
Perform legal analysis, prepare presentations, and produce consolidated reports for the Legal Counsel. Additionally, develop legal training materials and organize training sessions for the team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Assist legal counsels across various regions in reviewing and advising on contracts, providing legal guidance on contractual and regulatory matters, managing legal risks related to the Company’s compliance, coordinating external legal and consulting resources, developing legal training materials, organizing training sessions, and handling any additional tasks as directed by legal counsel.
Assisting in reviewing, drafting, advising and negotiating on a diverse range of construction contracts and legal documents.
To engage actively in project teams to give advice on due performance in accordance with contract and legal compliance.
Internal: HQ Department Heads, and Projects Directors, Managers/ Project Personnel.
External: Clients/Governmental Official/Vendors/Sub-Contractors/ Law office.
Educational Degree in Law.
Fresh graduate or 0–2 years of experience in Law.
Previous internships or training in law firms or in-house legal departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Chinese or Arabic is preferred.
