Brief information of the position:
• Position: Junior Drilling Engineer in Wells Operation Department
• Location: Full-time Residential Job in Abu Dhabi/ with the flexibility to work in various locations
• Office Timings: 8:30am to 5:30pm with 01-hour lunch break – Monday to Friday (weekly off: Saturday & Sunday)

Job Role

• Drilling Engineers are responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the process of drilling oil and gas wells.
• Designing well plans for drilling, testing, and completion of wells.
• Developing drilling programs and overseeing the drilling operations.
• Evaluating new drilling equipment and drilling techniques.
• Ensuring that drilling operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Working with geologists to understand the geological characteristics of the area where drilling will take place.
• Optimizing drilling operations to reduce cost and improve drilling efficiency.
• Monitoring daily drilling activity and providing technical advice to resolve drilling problems.
• Preparing cost estimates and analysis for drilling activities.
• Maintaining and updating drilling databases and records.
• Working with contractors and suppliers to ensure that services and materials are provided at the right time and at the right cost.
