Joinery production Supervisor

The Joinery Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality wooden products. This role includes supervising a team of joiners, coordinating production schedules, managing workflows, and ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The supervisor will also be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, maintaining equipment, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Supervision and Leadership:
   1. Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of joiners, carpenters, and workshop assistants.
   2. Assign daily tasks and set production priorities based on project requirements and deadlines.
   3. Provide training and support for the team to improve skills, knowledge, and safety practices.
   4. Ensure team compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
2. Production Planning and Coordination:
   1. Oversee the preparation, cutting, assembling, and finishing of joinery products, such as cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture.
   2. Work closely with the production manager to create and update work schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines.
   3. Monitor production progress, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure timely completion of orders.
   4. Ensure proficiency in interpreting drawings for cutting specifications.
