Job Description:

1. The Estimator is responsible for all estimation works in joinery and fit-out works. Applicant must have foundation knowledge in woods and quantity surveying. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quantity surveying/engineering/architecture with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
2. Responsible for preparing BOQ and estimating material requirements, choosing the most appropriate materials.
3. Prepare detailed estimates and bills of quantities for large prestigious high-end interior fit-out, villas, and other joinery projects.
4. Conduct estimation and cost control activities to ensure projects stay within budget. Manage the entire tender process, including interpreting specifications, pricing tenders, and preparing contract documents.
5. Review and interpret drawings, tender documents, quantities, and estimates.
6. Develop bid cost estimates and ensure timely submission.
7. Coordinate with the production department to align estimation and production timelines.
8. Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and review the bid calendar, ensuring timely submission of bids.
9. Maintain supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seek new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
10. Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client.
11. Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
12. Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans, specifications, etc.).
