IT Technician

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide on-site IT support for hardware and software issues.
2. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.).
3. Troubleshoot network connectivity and system performance issues, CCTV, and sales printers.
4. Support end-users with IT-related concerns and ensure smooth operations.
5. Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to create a knowledge base for the team.
6. Provide technical IT support to staff and resolve IT-related issues quickly and efficiently.
7. Maintain IT inventory and assist with asset management.
8. Conduct site visits for hardware inspections and troubleshooting.
9. Design and install computer hardware configurations.
10. Install software and networking systems.
11. Troubleshoot network and software issues, including CCTV and Punching Machines.
12. Install high-level software security systems and repair laptops, mobile phones, etc.
13. Update on newly installed hardware and software systems.
14. Fix hardware, software, and networking issues.
15. Respond to general IT requests.
16. Perform tasks as assigned by the manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in IT support, system/network administration, or a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
4. Experience with network management tools, server administration, and cloud platforms.
5. Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.
6. Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
7. Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
8. Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
