Job description

The IT Technical Support Associate is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. They will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide guidance on software and hardware usage, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  2. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  4. Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve network issues.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  6. Document all support activities and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
  7. Train end-users on software and hardware usage.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support roles.
  3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
