IT System Administrator

Micah Solutions FZE is seeking a skilled and proactive IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the systems and networks. Your technical expertise and commitment to best practices will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.
2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
3. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for various systems.
4. Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing security measures and conducting regular audits.
5. Backup and restore data, ensuring data integrity and availability.
6. Support software applications and perform regular updates and patches to maintain system health.
7. Document system configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities.
8. Provide technical support and training to end-users on IT-related issues.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.
4. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
5. Understanding of security best practices and firewalls.
6. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
8. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
2. Experience in Office 365 & Pabx system.
3. Experience in ERP & CRM.
4. Familiarity with database management and backup solutions.
