IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve IT-related issues through our ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues for both Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
• Conduct regular system updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Offer remote support to employees using various tools and technologies.
• Document technical solutions and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve support processes and enhance user experience.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and implementation.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and support processes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support critical IT operations.

• Should be located in Dubai (candidates outside Dubai are excluded).
• Immediate availability is a plus.
