IT Support - Network Infrastructure

The IT Support Network Infrastructure role focuses on maintaining and supporting the organization's networking systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance across all sites. This position involves configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software components while ensuring compliance with UAE cybersecurity standards. Working in a structured IT environment, the role supports the daily operations of LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPN services, contributing to the stability and security of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2. Monitoring network performance and availability using diagnostic tools and responding promptly to connectivity issues.
3. Assisting in the implementation of new network solutions and improvements to existing systems.
4. Troubleshooting network-related incidents and resolving issues related to connectivity, performance, or hardware.
5. Managing IP addressing schemes, VLANs, and network access control across multiple sites.
6. Supporting remote access solutions such as VPNs and ensuring secure connectivity for mobile and remote users.
7. Documenting network configurations, incident logs, and maintenance procedures.
8. Ensuring all infrastructure activities are in line with UAE cybersecurity regulations and internal IT security policies.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in network support or IT infrastructure roles, preferably within the UAE.
3. Hands-on experience with networking equipment from Cisco, Fortinet, or similar vendors.
4. Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) and security practices.
5. Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
6. Familiarity with UAE data protection regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
