Job description

The Role

  • Provide technical support to our clients as part of the IT Helpdesk.
  • Answer calls and provide necessary support over the phone, email, or physical visit.
  • Manage multiple support tickets at once and prioritize user requirements.
  • Keep the IT Helpdesk system records accurate and up to date. Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Install, modify, upgrade, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as computer peripherals.
  • Manage and administer Office 365 tenants with advanced features.
  • Research and identify solutions to software, hardware, systems, networks, printers, and scanners issues.
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as IT support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CCNA, MCSE, Office 365 certifications, or AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients clearly and efficiently.
  • A logical approach to problem solving and analysing.
  • Good organizational skills to prioritize workloads.
