IT Support Engineer

National Fire Fighting Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees on computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
• Monitor and maintain the company’s network and server systems.
• Ensure IT system security and integrity by implementing appropriate measures.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Train employees on the proper use of software and systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to enhance processes and systems.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with networking, server systems, and security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
