Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled IT Support and Social Media Specialist to join our team. This dual role is crucial for maintaining our IT infrastructure and enhancing our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support:

  1. Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
  3. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  4. Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and email accounts.
  5. Train employees on new software applications and IT protocols.
  6. Ensure data security and perform regular backups of systems and critical data.
  7. Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, maintaining an inventory of all IT assets.

Social Media Management:

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  2. Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  3. Monitor social media channels for trends, brand mentions, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly to inquiries and comments.
  4. Analyze and report on social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall branding initiatives.
  6. Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  2. Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
  3. Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
