Job Description

  • Diagnose hardware and software problems through remote troubleshooting tools, enhancing customer satisfaction with efficient solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, safeguarding sensitive information while enabling appropriate access for all users.
  • Document and track support requests in a ticketing system, ensuring transparent communication and follow-up on outstanding issues.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of IT equipment for new employees, facilitating smooth onboarding and productivity from day one.
  • Conduct regular system updates and maintenance checks, proactively preventing potential issues before they impact users.
  • Train users on new technologies and software applications, empowering them to utilize tools effectively and confidently.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement continuous improvement strategies, contributing to an evolving support ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, enhancing personal expertise and the overall capability of the support team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Fresh service and SysAid.
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting adaptability and quick problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments, ensuring versatility in supporting a range of devices and users.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, enabling effective resolution of connectivity issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise interactions with users and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.
