IT Project Coordinator

We are looking for a IT Project Coordinator to join the team of our client who is one of the largest semi-government organizations in the region.

The role sits within the Group IT team, focusing on ensuring the smooth execution of IT projects by supporting project managers, teams, and various stakeholders for digital initiatives.

This position has a contract duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage multiple IT projects, acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the IT department.
2. Track digital demand, document requirements, and provide project updates.
3. Maintain and monitor project tasks, action items, and vendor performance.
4. Ensure compliance with risk, audit, contracts, and financial requirements.
5. Provide operational support for digital products and initiatives.
6. Create and manage project documentation, reports, and activity logs.
7. Act as a Project Manager for assigned initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
2. 4-5 years of proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
3. Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, SharePoint, and MS applications.
4. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
5. Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
6. Excellent communication, and presentation skills. Strong client-facing and teamwork abilities.
7. Knowledge of IT industry, IT products, and technologies.
8. PMP or Agile certification is an added advantage.
9. Self-driven, highly organized, attention to details and very effective time management skills.

Availability:

Preference will be given to candidates available with a 30 days notice or immediately. We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
