Job Overview:

The AVEVA Engineering Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining AVEVA Engineering Project & support end-users. Tasks will include configuring, customizing, optimizing, and supporting the AVEVA Engineering environment to guarantee smooth and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide user support to engineering, procurement, and site/construction.
2. Communicate with internal users of the application to address and solve user's business and application needs.
3. Write functional specifications, design, and test developed reports, and assist with user training.
4. Serve as functional lead and/or PM on IT Projects.
5. Work closely with various business units during the upgrade of Smart Plant Materials and provide follow-up support.
6. Assist process owner with analyzing, clarifying, and documenting work processes.
7. Solve user problems and identify other areas of opportunity.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications as a lead or administrator.
3. An understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes in executing an EPC project.

Required Skills:

1. Communication, developing and documenting requirements and specifications.
2. Development and planning of processes to solve the user’s business and application needs.
3. IT project management methodology.
4. Good communication skills are a must.
5. Working knowledge of the business units or processes supported by the application.
6. In-depth understanding of how the application software has been set up and integrated to support business needs.
7. Ability to conduct functional testing of the application.
8. Complete understanding of data use, processes, and output.
