IT MANAGER - MIDDLE EAST REGION

The ideal candidate for the IT Manager - ME position will have extensive experience in addressing a wide range of hardware and software issues. They should be skilled in providing effective technology solutions to employees and working closely with third-party software providers to adopt new technologies while optimizing the use of existing systems. The candidate must have a strong background in information technology and will stay informed on the latest technology trends to ensure the company's IT infrastructure remains current and effective.

As the IT Manager - ME, this role will involve providing and implementing technical solutions for the region's IT infrastructure to meet business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company's technology methods and systems enable staff to deliver exceptional services to clients. This includes staff training, providing technical support for current systems, liaising with suppliers to ensure that technology continues to meet operational requirements, and introducing new technologies to enhance overall efficiency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain the Company Management System to control hardware and software systems, including security devices and issued software.
2. Manage IT infrastructure and computer systems to ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
3. Implement and manage office and field IT policies, determining strategies for backup, storage, email, security, and anti-virus protection.
4. Ensure IT resources evolve with the Company, supporting future growth, and ensure current IT resources are used efficiently and improved as necessary.
5. Search for and implement new IT strategies and technologies to meet business needs.
6. Provide support for the development and management of communication systems within the Company.
7. Ensure time spent on technical support operations is properly accounted for.
8. Advise on corporate ICT issues released from the Head Office, and work closely with the Head Office IT team to ensure the timely and effective roll-out of the company's ERP system.
9. Prepare and administer the IT budget and support contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
10. Provide necessary IT training for new employees and assist with troubleshooting as required.
11. Support user departments in the operation and processing of ongoing computer applications.
12. Manage technologies, offering administrative assistance for various systems, and troubleshoot IT issues while providing technical support.
13. Negotiate and collaborate with third-party software providers for new software and troubleshooting solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in information technology and solving various software and hardware issues.
3. Experience in implementing and providing user support for ERP systems and software such as AutoCAD, Plaxis, PCI Columns, Tekla Structures, Allpile, Wallap, Slope, Slide, LiquifyPro, Settle 3D, and StoneC.
4. Strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Good analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
6. Prior experience in IT supply chain management would be an added advantage.
7. Previous working experience in the UAE or the Middle East is preferred.
8. A valid driving license is required.
