The IT Managed Services PreSales Manager is responsible for supporting sales efforts by designing proposing and positioning IT managed services solutions tailored to customer requirements. This role bridges technical expertise and business strategy working closely with sales teams solution architects and service delivery teams to develop compelling proposals conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and ensure that solutions align with client business goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS Azure GCP) cybersecurity IT service management (ITSM) and digital transformation and be able to communicate the value of managed services to both technical and business stakeholders.

Create Technical Proposals & RFP/RFI Responses Prepare solution documents technical designs and pricing models. Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) & Operational Frameworks Ensure clear definition of service commitments KPIs and operational workflows.
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement Support Sales & Business Development Teams Assist in client meetings technical discussions and deal structuring. Competitive Analysis & Market Positioning Research Industry Trends & Competitor Offerings Stay updated on emerging technologies automation AI-driven IT operations and security innovations. Develop Differentiated Service Offerings Identify gaps in competitor solutions and highlight unique value propositions. Engage with Technology Vendors & Partners Collaborate with Microsoft AWS Cisco Palo Alto VMware and other strategic partners.
Collaboration with Internal Teams Work with Solution Architects & Service Delivery Teams Ensure proposed solutions are feasible scalable and cost-effective. Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) in PreSales Ensure Compliance with IT Governance & Security Standards Align solutions with ISO 27001 GDPR NIST ITIL and local regulations. Assess Vendor & Third-Party Risks Evaluate cloud service provider security policies and integrations. Define Risk Mitigation Strategies Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery solutions are incorporated into proposals.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Computer Science Business or a related field.
8 years in IT service delivery with 5 years in a presales managerial role Preferred certifications:
AWS / Azure / GCP Solution Architect
ITIL v4 Foundation / ITSM Practitioner
CISSP / CISM (for security-focused presales)
