IT Infrastructure Project Manager

We have an urgent requirement for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for one of our clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Strong experience in IT infrastructure project management is required to apply for this role.

Strong experience in networking, cloud platforms, servers, storage, and virtualization is required to apply for this role.

Strong experience in design, installation, and configuration of IT infrastructure components is required to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including project scoping, planning, design, implementation, and post-deployment activities.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and prioritize IT infrastructure initiatives based on business needs.
• Oversee the design, installation, and configuration of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, cloud solutions, and storage systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, software developers, and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure project requirements are met.
• Hold regular status meetings with team members and stakeholders to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all necessary hardware, software, and personnel are available when required.
• Track expenses and adjust as necessary to stay within budget.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure projects.
• Resolve issues related to project delays, technical challenges, or changes in scope.
• Implement contingency plans when necessary to address unforeseen challenges or changes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including IT leadership, vendors, and business units.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to key stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and facilitate collaboration between different departments to ensure that IT infrastructure projects meet business needs.
• Ensure that IT infrastructure projects meet organizational standards, security protocols, and industry regulations.
• Conduct post-project reviews and assessments to evaluate project performance and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all infrastructure solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in IT infrastructure.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to the organization's infrastructure and project management processes.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in project delivery, quality, and efficiency.
