Job Description

The IT-ELV Presales / Inside Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and assisting in the development of solutions for IT-Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This role involves a blend of technical knowledge, customer relationship management, and effective sales support to ensure successful business development and project delivery. The individual will work closely with the sales team and present tailored solutions to clients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Technical Pre-sales Support:

  1. Provide technical guidance and presales support to the sales team, including solution design, proposals, and presentations for IT-ELV systems (e.g., Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access control, Security systems, etc.).
  2. Understand customer requirements and design solutions that align with their needs, budget, and specifications.
  3. Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals, ensuring all client requirements are met.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products, services, and solutions offered by the company.
  5. Identify potential clients, generate leads, and qualify sales opportunities supporting Sales teams within assigned accounts or territories.
  6. Respond & Follow-up to inquiries, RFQs, and RFPs in a timely and accurate manner.
  7. Work closely with the technical and project teams to gather input, understand solution capabilities, design and deliver proposals that address customer challenges.
  8. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to get the best pricing and technical information for solution components.
  9. Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure seamless communication throughout the sales cycle.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  2. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops as needed.
  3. Follow up on leads, prospects, and opportunities to maximize conversion.

3. Market Research & Analysis:

  1. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors to ensure the company’s offerings remain competitive.
  2. Provide feedback to the product and technical teams on market needs and client requirements.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

  1. Maintain accurate records of all activities (Salesforce, Excel, CRM, etc.).

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. 1-2 years Sales-Design experience in IT infrastructure B2B.
  2. Basic understanding of technology and willingness to learn.
  3. Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new clients.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
  5. Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
  6. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
  7. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge of IT/ELV or related systems, strong sales skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  8. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
