IT Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to develop and execute the company's technology strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of Fintech applications and platforms.

Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
2. Application Management: Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of Fintech applications and platforms.
3. Cybersecurity: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with UAE financial regulations.
4. Cloud Infrastructure: Lead cloud infrastructure management ensuring high availability and scalability.
5. IT Budgeting: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments.
6. Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
7. Data Security: Ensure data security governance and compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, and UAE financial laws.
8. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing IT team fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership within a Fintech company in the UAE.
2. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of banking APIs, payment gateways, blockchain, and digital wallets.
3. Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
4. Cybersecurity: Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
5. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead IT strategy, budgeting, and large-scale technology projects.
6. Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and automation in financial services is a plus.
