IT Audit Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our growing Internal Audit team. In this role, you will manage and guide the IT Audit team, performing assessments to identify IT, cybersecurity, and data privacy risks in our cloud-based and microservices environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in IT audits who can ensure that our systems are secure, resilient, and compliant, all while supporting the growth of our organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Lead and conduct IT, cybersecurity, and data audits to identify risks, assess controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks like UAE Information Assurance Regulation and Data Protection Laws.
2. Assess the IT risks of our cloud-based infrastructure and microservices architecture, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
3. Develop, maintain, and improve audit frameworks, methodologies, and practices to continuously enhance our internal control environment.
4. Collaborate with key departments such as IT, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure smooth audit processes and effective implementation of corrective actions. Provide regular reports to senior management on audit findings and risk mitigation efforts.
5. Provide training for staff on IT, cybersecurity, data governance best practices, and internal audit policies, fostering a culture of security and compliance across the organization.
6. Drive the creation of an Audit platform and automation strategy, guiding the Internal Audit team, including managing Analytics Engineers dedicated to this function.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 8+ years of experience in IT audits, cybersecurity management, or data protection within a financial services environment, with a preference for experience in cloud-based fintech environments.
2. Expertise in assessing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
3. Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and compliance regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, Data Protection laws, UAE Information Assurance Regulation).
4. Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders with excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Familiarity with data analysis using SQL or Python, and automation through programming languages is a plus.
6. Professional certifications like CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are desirable.
7. A proactive, adaptable mindset and eagerness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic digital banking environment.
