Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT and AV Specialist to manage and maintain the control room, ensuring the seamless operation of CCTV systems, server infrastructure, sound systems, and video operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both IT and AV technologies, with a focus on security systems, network management, and audio-visual equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Control Room Management:
   • Oversee and maintain the control room, ensuring all systems (CCTV, servers, sound, and video operations) are functioning efficiently.
   • Monitor and manage CCTV systems, ensuring all security cameras are operational and recording as required.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with control room equipment in real-time.
2. IT Infrastructure:
   • Manage server operations related to CCTV and AV systems, ensuring data is stored securely and access is appropriately controlled.
   • Ensure network connectivity and security for all control room operations.
   • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance on servers and other IT infrastructure.
3. Audio-Visual (AV) Management:
   • Set up, configure, and maintain AV equipment for sound and video operations within the control room.
   • Collaborate with other departments to support AV needs for meetings, presentations, and events.
   • Conduct routine checks on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Technical Support:
   • Provide technical support for all IT and AV-related issues within the control room and broader organization.
   • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance.
   • Train staff on the proper use of IT and AV equipment as needed.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Maintain detailed logs of all control room activities, including system maintenance, incidents, and resolutions.
   • Prepare regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.
   • Document all IT and AV configurations, procedures, and updates.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT and AV roles, with a focus on control room operations, CCTV systems, and server management.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in managing CCTV systems, server infrastructure, and network security.
• Strong understanding of AV technologies, including sound systems, video equipment, and related software.
• Knowledge of control room operations and best practices.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, AVIXA CTS, etc.) are a plus.
