Job Description

1. System Management:
   1. Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related technology.
   2. Perform regular system updates and upgrades.
   3. Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
2. Network Administration:
   1. Manage and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
   2. Troubleshoot network issues and ensure network security.
   3. Maintain VPN connections and remote access solutions.
3. User Support:
   1. Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
   2. Maintain an IT helpdesk and manage ticketing systems.
   3. Train users on new systems and applications.
4. Security:
   1. Implement and manage security policies and procedures.
   2. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
   3. Manage antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint security solutions.
5. Backup and Recovery:
   1. Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
   2. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
   3. Restore data and systems as necessary.
6. Documentation:
   1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
   2. Document changes and updates to the IT environment.
7. Project Management:
   1. Plan and execute IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades.
   2. Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
   3. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
4. Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure).
5. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS).
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
