POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting and executing all Marketing, PR, and Social Media projects and initiatives. This includes updating and maintaining all channels, both internal and external, related to The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, as requested by the Director of Marketing. The candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with internal teams, external clients, and guests to provide excellent customer service through modern technology and social media channels.

The Assistant Marketing Manager will also support Marketing & Communications within the area and media community, working as a key member of the Marketing team to manage and facilitate the implementation of the PR Strategy for Marriott International properties and corporate initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Research and identify specific collateral required to support the sales process, including copywriting for hotel brochures.
  2. Assist with developing & implementing Communications support strategies, including producing individual PR plans for the hotel.
  3. Respond to media inquiries & information requests for The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with Marriott's international PR network to facilitate promotion of properties worldwide.
  5. Coordinate & host incoming international/foreign media groups and individual visits to the hotel.
  6. Assist in leading conversation culture with the Marketing Coordinator within the hotel team.
  7. Utilize sites like Booking.com and TripAdvisor to report on the sentiments of reviews and postings regarding The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
  8. Work closely with the team to take full responsibility for the creation of a monthly newsletter.
  9. Ensure that all deadlines are met and each edition is delivered on time.
  10. Manage local property sites and ensure Brand Standards compliance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
