istant Electrical Engineer

• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure the design aligns with client requirements, is in compliance with current UAE legislation, industry standards, and codes of practice where appropriate.
• Manage all aspects of the electrical design production process to ensure the overall design is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of the program’s strategic objectives.
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to manage the design and its approval across the project stakeholders.
• Assist the Senior Design Manager in the preparation of a detailed project plan, as part of the Project Management Plan, for the electrical design phases of the program.
• Manage the day-to-day electrical design monitoring activities and resources and actively participate in the design team meetings.
• Ensure that all electrical design related project KPIs, targets, directions, and instructions are communicated to all relevant project stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Provide status reporting regarding electrical design milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Coordinate between other disciplines.
• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
• Act as an internal quality control check for the electrical design documentation.
• Ensure that designs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage design issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline program.
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.
