IoT Intern Job Opportunity

Are you passionate about smart technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment? Our product development and design studio is looking for an IoT Intern to help optimize our smart warehouse/office solution. In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to resolve technical challenges, enhance device connectivity, and build seamless automation routines.

Responsibilities

1. Network Optimization: Assist in enhancing our wireless network to ensure smooth connectivity for all smart devices.
2. Device Connectivity: Reconnect and configure a variety of IoT devices for a fully integrated workspace.
3. Battery & Power Troubleshooting: Address power issues to maintain reliable operation.
4. Automation Support: Implement automation routines that enhance the functionality and responsiveness of our smart solution.
5. System Synchronization: Help integrate audio, presence, and sensor devices for a cohesive warehouse/office experience.
6. Electro-Mechanical Challenges: Participate in ongoing projects, tackling automation and embedded systems challenges to enhance expertise.
7. Software Development Assistance: Assist in coding for internal IoT projects, as well as company programs, including AppSheet-based app development.
8. Home Assistant Configuration: Dive into Home Assistant and similar platforms to configure and optimize automation workflows for our office.
9. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of setups, configurations, and troubleshooting processes to streamline operations.
10. Collaborative Support: Work with engineers and other team members to contribute to project-based tasks and provide solutions to technical challenges.

Requirements

1. Interest in IoT: A passion for smart technology, with basic knowledge of wireless networks and connected devices.
2. Problem-Solving Mindset: A methodical approach to troubleshooting connectivity, power, and integration issues.
3. Technical Curiosity: Eager to learn about smart systems and gain hands-on experience in a warehouse/office environment.
4. Coding Skills: Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages is a plus.
5. Knowledge of Automation Tools: Familiarity with platforms like Home Assistant, AppSheet, or other automation solutions is highly desirable.
6. Attention to Detail: Willingness to fine-tune configurations to ensure peak performance.
7. Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to take initiative, learn independently, and stay driven to solve problems.

Stipend: AED 1000.00 - AED 2000.00 per month (based on skillsets and attitude)
