Join our client, a top-tier real estate developer in Ras Al Khaimah, and play a pivotal role in driving strategic business objectives and enhancing the company's growth trajectory. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Business Director to lead and shape the future of our client’s strategic initiatives.

Job Purpose:

The Strategic Business Director will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing strategic business objectives. This role includes assisting in establishing company objectives and developing short, medium, and long-range strategic plans, while identifying organizational strengths, weaknesses, and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the team ensuring timely delivery.
  • Advance career development through coaching and support.
  • Provide actionable feedback and identify training needs.

Budgetary Responsibility:

  • Develop departmental budgets in alignment with the overall company budget.

Strategy and Planning:

  • Prepare and implement departmental strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Facilitate key processes including the Annual Strategic Planning and Budgeting processes.
  • Lead the strategic planning process and recommend strategies to the CEO and Chairman.
  • Develop comprehensive long-range plans and risk management frameworks.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and assess company performance, addressing any issues identified.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate transactions and collections.

Strategic Opportunities & JVs:

  • Cultivate relationships with JVs and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Manage strategic projects such as M&A and restructuring.

Feasibility Studies and Business Planning:

  • Conduct feasibility studies and produce relevant market insights.
  • Oversee project business plans and cash flows.

Relationship Management:

  • Build credible relationships with local governments and business bodies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure objectives are met.

Accountability:

  • Drive sales revenue and collection targets.
  • Achieve corporate performance management metrics.
  • Initiate and launch market-driven projects.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MSc. or MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of strategy experience in a leadership role within the real estate sector or a management consulting firm.
  • Deep expertise in strategy frameworks and concepts.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and managing projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the GCC real estate market.
  • Prior experience with JVs, partnerships, and negotiations.
