The organisation is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join their team and play a key role in shaping the firms investment strategy. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating high-potential investment opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to support portfolio growth, and building strong relationships within the Web3 and AI ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

• Market Analysis & Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay on top of emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements within the Web3, AI, and deep-tech sectors.
• Opportunity Sourcing: Identify promising startups, scale-ups, and mature companies in the Web3, AI, and digital technologies space for potential investment opportunities.
• Investment Evaluation: Assess potential investments by reviewing business models, scalability, and market opportunities, providing crucial insights for investment decisions.
• Portfolio Support: Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, track key metrics, and offer strategic support to help drive growth.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and portfolio companies to uncover synergies, optimize collaborations, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Due Diligence: Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring thorough evaluations of potential investments in line with the firms objectives.
• Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to add value to the firms investments and help portfolio companies thrive.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and co-investors to foster growth and innovation.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the firms thought leadership initiatives by providing insights on industry developments, positioning the organisation as a key player in deep tech investments.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis, venture capital, or a related field, particularly in Web3, AI, or blockchain technologies.
• Strong understanding of Web3, AI, blockchain technologies, and their business models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for market trends and technological advancements.
• Proven track record in building relationships with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and co-investors.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to various stakeholders.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring or leading junior team members.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., MBA) are a plus.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape.
