Investment Manager

Our client is a leading investment firm specializing in commodity trading, mining, and processing. The firm strategically invests its capital alongside global investors, leveraging its extensive network and expertise to identify lucrative medium to long-term opportunities. With a strong focus on commodity projects, trade finance, and selective infrastructure projects, particularly in Asia and the Middle East, they are currently seeking a highly experienced Investment Manager to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role involves working closely with the investment team in Dubai and reporting directly to the Head of Investment based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Participating in structuring, negotiation, and documentation of investments.
• Reviewing and negotiating various legal agreements (including term sheets, loan documents, and fee agreements) related to the purchase and/or financing of commodity-related assets.
• Support transaction execution management of ongoing deals within the group, such as M&A transactions and financing, by coordinating with all parties involved (lawyers, service providers, etc.).
• Engaging in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses.
• Contributing to transaction planning meetings and structuring discussions.
• Prepare high-quality marketing materials and discussion materials.
• Responsible for reviewing financial models and financial analyses.

Requirements

• Master’s in business administration (MBA-Finance)/ Chartered Accountants (having similar experience)
• 7-10 years in investment banking/ investment boutique/financial consulting firm (big 4 preferred)
• Must have experience in commodity and trading
