Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Investment Analyst/Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in real estate investment, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, due diligence, market analysis, and deal execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
- Perform detailed financial modeling (including DCF, IRR, NAV, and other performance metrics) for potential investments.
- Assist in conducting due diligence processes, ensuring alignment with Sharia compliance guidelines.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal approval and external stakeholders.
- Support senior team members in managing the full lifecycle of investment transactions, including acquisition, financing, and disposition of assets.
- Liaise with legal, tax, and other external advisors during transaction processes.
- Participate in negotiations with sellers, investors, and other stakeholders.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Conduct market research on regional and international real estate trends, identifying new opportunities and risks.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and prepare regular updates for senior management.
- Track key economic, real estate, and Sharia-compliance developments impacting the fund's investments.
Investor Relations Support:
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports, quarterly updates, and other communications.
- Coordinate with the Investor Relations team to provide relevant data and insights to investors.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate investment or private equity, with a focus on real estate. European/US real estate exposure is ideal.
- Strong background in financial modeling, investment analysis, and due diligence.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, or equivalent) or a Master's degree in real estate or finance would be advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and other analytical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Solid understanding of market research and real estate valuation methodologies.
- Fluency in a European language is advantageous.
