Investment Analyst

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to look after private venture capital/private equity investments for a family office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth investment research and analysis across various industries and asset classes.
2. Evaluate potential investment opportunities, performing due diligence and financial modeling.
3. Track and monitor the performance of existing investments and provide regular updates on the status of investments and recommend adjustments as needed.
4. Manage and execute independent deal workflows from initial screening to closing.
5. Keep abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical developments that could impact investments. Provide insights and recommendations to the investment team on how to adapt the portfolio strategy accordingly.
6. Prepare regular investment performance reports, including detailed analyses of individual investments and portfolio-wide results. Present findings ensuring transparency and clear communication.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) would be an advantage.
2. 2+ years of experience as an Investment Analyst with strong background in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity Funds, or Big 4.
3. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and handle end-to-end deal workflows.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
7. Experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and performance analysis.
8. High level of integrity and discretion.
