Inventory Manager | Automotive | Commercial Vehicles
Job description
The main tasks:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize lost sales due to availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices.
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet customer demands on time.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain.
The responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory levels to achieve high levels of shelf availability.
- Manage inventory and supply chain according to company guidelines and policies.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct items are in place with sufficient quantity.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers between branches.
- Implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure purchase orders are processed on time.
- Submit all reports required to enhance inventory and supply chain management.
- Adhere to HSE rules and maintain high levels of KPIs to match company objectives.
Job requirements:
- Degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
- Years of experience in the field of commercial and automotive parts of ERP systems or similar.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
