Full Job Description
We are looking to hire an Inventory Controller and Merchandiser Planner for our retail division to be based in KSA.
Job Requirements:
A person who analyzes sales trends and forecasts product availability accordingly in the stores in advance.
Must be result-oriented and take full ownership of the job role.
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Based on the plan, coordinate with factories and warehouses on product/merchandise requirements in the stores in a planned way.
Identify gaps in product availability and take timely action. Coordinate and visit the stores regularly for qualitative and quantitative feedback.
Work closely with the stores to actively manage inventory levels, including planning backup orders, recommending orders, increasing/decreasing inventory, and/or canceling orders.
On a monthly and quarterly basis, generate inventory reports and actions taken to mitigate the shortfall.
Establish and monitor store capacity vs. inventory levels.
Ideal Candidate: (preferably female)
Must have 3 – 5 years of experience as a Merchandise Planner with a small or medium-sized retailer.
Strong aptitude with numbers and a clear understanding of retail math skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate both orally and in writing clearly and persuasively.
Excels in team environments and in building and developing strong interpersonal relationships.
Driving license is an advantage.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel.
