Intraday Trader

As a Proprietary Trader, you will be responsible for managing and executing trades in commodity derivatives, with a focus on intraday and day-ahead trading strategies. The role offers flexibility to apply both discretionary and systematic trading approaches, depending on your style and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commodity Derivatives Trading: Execute speculative trades, including but not limited to energy, metals, agricultural products, and soft commodities.
• Intraday & Day-Ahead Trading: Focus on intraday positions or trades with holding periods of up to one day, capitalizing on short-term price movements and market inefficiencies.
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement discretionary and/or systematic trading strategies, optimizing risk/reward ratios while adhering to the firm's risk management framework.
• Market Analysis: Analyze commodity markets using both fundamental and technical analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, and opportunities to generate returns.
• Risk Management: Proactively manage risk across positions, utilizing hedging strategies and other tools to mitigate exposure to market fluctuations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other traders and the research team to share insights and improve overall trading performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate your trades, ensuring that performance aligns with team objectives and trading goals.
