Job Overview:
The Video Content intern will develop and deliver compelling video content to support our brand, engage our audience, and drive business results. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in video production and editing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video shoots.
- Ensure high production value and consistency across all video content.
- Manage post-production editing, including sound, visual effects, and color correction.
- Develop a video content calendar that aligns with marketing objectives and campaign schedules.
- Optimize video content for SEO and platform-specific algorithms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook).
- Monitor performance of video content and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Work with the marketing team to repurpose video content into shorter clips, GIFs, and teasers for promotional purposes.
- Capture and film marketing events.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (After Effects, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
- Familiarity with various camera types and production equipment (DSLRs, drones, microphones, lighting kits).
Creative Skills:
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail, composition, and design.
Marketing & Analytical Skills:
- Understanding of digital marketing and how video content fits into broader campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Intern in Film, Video Production, Marketing, or related field.
- Knowledge in social media video trends and formats (Instagram Stories, TikTok, etc.) is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms and techniques (YouTube Live, Twitch, Facebook Live).
