Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Sales Manager to expand and manage our footprint in the Africa region for our home appliance products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, establishing strong distribution networks, and achieving revenue targets across Africa and GCC region. This role requires a deep understanding of African consumer behavior, market trends, and business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share in African countries.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers to expand sales channels.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the region.
  • Drive sales initiatives while ensuring competitive positioning of our home appliance products.
  • Negotiate and manage pricing, contracts, and trade agreements with distributors and key accounts.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with import/export laws, tariffs, and product certifications in various African countries.
  • Manage relationships with existing partners while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to distributors and sales representatives to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Regularly travel across the African region to strengthen relationships and identify new business avenues.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international sales, preferably in the home appliance, consumer electronics
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding sales in African markets.
  • Strong network of distributors, importers, and retailers within the region.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different cultural and business environments.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations, pricing strategies, and logistics related to African markets.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French, Portuguese, or Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
